About US
KRT was founded in 1997 by three female undergraduate students in the University of Calabar, Nigeria, who were keen to make a difference in the lives of others. Before long, the team grew to 12 young ladies, who financially supported children in need by organizing fundraisers.
A few examples of projects undertaken from 1997 to 2000; KRT raised money to install mosquito netting in the Children's ward of the General Hospital in Calabar. We also organized a fund raiser to cover the cost of an artificial limb for a toddler who lost her leg in a motorcycle accident.
Since graduation from university, KRT members dispersed to various parts of the world where life led them. We recently reconnected with the aim of continuing where we left off 25 years ago!
The KRT Foundation has now been relaunched with a fresh focus on education and healthcare assistance. We are seeking partners for educational scholarship and healthcare sponsorship projects for less privileged individuals in Nigeria.
